Buen dia amigos, espero la estén pasando muy bien, el dia de hoy les hablaré sobre esta planta de auyama y es muy conocida en el llano, suele expandirse en tierra firme y esta época de invierno es especial para ella.
Podemos mantenerla en semilleros por algunas semanas, ya despues toca llevarla al sitio donde la vamos a plantar, aunque si sembramos la semilla en tierra firme mucho mejor.
La auyama es muy utilizada en la cocina venezolana, con ella se preparan multiples recetas deliciosas y entre ellas esta la torta que es una de mis favoritas.
Una planta puede cargar muchas auyamas y en epoca de recolecta es un trabajo fuerte donde se necesita de la ayuda de muchas personas.
Ellas comparten el espacio con la planta de maiz sin ningún problema, si debemos limpiar la maleza que crece alrededor para que no le robe los nutrientes.
