Walking through flower shops

Hi Steemit! Last week I looked through stories on Instagram, one girl who liked succulents managed to get interesting varieties in a regular chain store, which is also in my city. Judging by the photo and her words, the choice was so great that she chose for a long time because the budget was limited. :) Seeing someone else's positive experience, I also wanted to acquire new succulents for my collection. It took me more than one day, I visited several stores, but I never bought anything. Now I will tell you why and what is interesting I saw.

The first store met me with a lack of interesting succulents, and those that were available looked awful. Today there will be no bad photos, but I think you can easily understand what I'm talking about. Injured leaves, elongated stems, lack of plaque all this suggests that the plants in the store for a long time.

In another store of the same chain, I really liked a few succulents, but they were huge. It was not advisable to buy them, they take up a lot of space and are very expensive. In addition, improper care is obvious, he could kill them at any moment.

I’d better show you what I liked.

An incredible variety of cacti, colors, sizes, needles, fluff. :) As a child, I kept cacti on my windowsill, I had a slightly different look. But of course there wasn’t such a variety as now on the shelves. :(

Do you like zamioculcas? :) I really like how it looks, its dense leaves look like artificial ones. As far as I know it multiplies leaves, but wait for the tuber before new branches should be very long.

I really like how roses look, I always want to buy them, but I absolutely do not know how to care for them. Each time a bush bought or donated died. In any case, I like this option more than a cut bouquet !;)

For a while I liked the violets. I took leaves from my friends to get many species. But just like with cacti, everyone basically had the same thing. :)

Before succulents, about five years ago I was passionate about orchids. It was easy for me with them, they actively bloomed. There was no talk of any reproduction, for a change I had to constantly buy to buy new copies. Finding something unusual was not easy and it is also not a budget hobby .;) At my place, about 10 orchids are still growing. :) Do you like orchids? :)

I also like the beauties from this photo. Monstera lived at our place for a while, I really like their patterned leaves. But the size to which she grows does not allow me to keep her at home anymore. And in our city there is a children's theater and there is a huge monster growing there. I have not been in this theater for many years, maybe she already broke the ceiling! :)))
