What is the MET Community?
The MET community is a community of business intellectuals and the community wishes to provide users with a platform to share valuable, business-related knowledge. The MET community aims to increase awareness of cryptocurrency regulation that affects individuals and world-wide.

Who can join the MET Community?
The MET community is looking for intelligent, ambitious business users who are willing to engage and help the community grow. The MET community is a community where knowledge is able to be freely shared by everyone. The business theme of the community will attract startup founders and enthusiasts, cryptocurrency traders and enthusiasts, business professionals, and anyone that wishes to learn about business. Community members are encouraged to create business content that is about either cryptocurrency or businesses.
What are MET Tokens?
The official @met account is used to support the community of users who write about business information, cryptocurrency regulation, and non-cryptocurrency regulations. The MET account also has its own automated Official Whaleshares Token (Bitshares UIA) called MET, which a community member can earn by actively participating within the community. The MET Whaletoken is backed by over 100,000 Whalestake. If you would like your posts promoted by the @met Whaleshares/Steemit account, make sure to tag your posts with #met. The MET community has also started a witness on Whaleshares. The witness account is @met.witness, and 50% of the block production rewards are used to build up the stake of the account. The @met.witness account will upvote posts along with the main MET account when MET tokens are redeemed.
How to get MET Tokens?
There are so many ways someone can become a holder of MET tokens, but the most common ways are;
- By participating in Challenges and Contests
- By been active on their Discord server
- By taking part in tasks created by the @met account
- By participating in a giveaway
