WHAT'S UP SPLINTERLANDS COMMUNITY?!
It's been a long time since I posted new content. I just became busy with life. But worry no more because your long wait is over. It's time to jump back where we left off.
For the months, many changes have happened in the Splinterlands game. There are new rules, and a game interface, and the most exciting part is that there are lots of new cards. You hear that right! There are plenty of new cards that we can choose from on using during the rank game. Also, there are new Soulbound cards that are new and strong and can surely be a great asset to our lineup. Can't wait to explore those?
Without further ado, let's jump into the CARD FEATURE OF THE WEEK!
COMMANDER SLADE
The Commander Slade is a Rare Water Unit with Infeeble and Dodge abilities. Monsters with Infeeble ability decrease the melee attack of the opponent's targeted monster after a successful attack. This is so valuable in weakening the offense of the opponent. Aside from that, this monster has also Dodge ability, which increases the chance of evading an attack to 25%. This is such a lethal combo because to maximize the use of Infeeble, this card should be alive in the game, of course. With the help of Dodge, it extends the life of this card during battle.
In terms of statistics, this monster is also very good at that. At Level 1, it has three (3) melee attack, four (4) speed, five (5) shields, and eight (8) lives. This is such a strong start for a monster because these statistics could go a very long way. With that kind of life and shield, this is a Tank Characteristic. Also, it has impressive Speed, which gives it a higher chance of evading attack. In terms of offense, the three-melee attack can defeat lots of monsters.
For this kind of monster, here is the perfect combination to team up with this monster.

It will make the card have a higher chance of evading attacks and surviving longer in the game. The upgrade in defense is needed because Commander Slade is a tank Card, which makes it prone to lots of attacks. So increasing its speed and shield is necessary. |
 | If you are thinking of a good monster to partner up with Commander Slade, consider MERDAALI GUARDIAN. This monster does not have attacks or shields but it can heal frontline monsters and this is exactly what Commander Slade needs during the battle. Commander Slade has strong attacks and defense but it needs to heal from magic attacks so that it will survive longer in the game. Remember, on picking the right companion for Commander Slade, choose a card that will help it to live longer in the field. |
