I hear the German in your words too. This is one of the things I love about works on Hive - by experiencing others' syntax and diction, I can take a deeper step into their culture, no matter what they are writing about.
I love that, too! Whenever I hear people from other countries speak German, I am delighted by the different uses of terms and syntax.
