POEM: PASSING THE END OF SUMMER

in #poem2 years ago

In goes the willow way
flowing like marmalade
fierce as a brisk brigade
and I will avoid her

Wearing pure white linen
black pearly silken skin
a ballooned time pricked pin
as I move towards her

Sun in the grassy knoll
we a boisterous parade
food spread in two arrays
as I move towards her

And as the time will pass
so goes the time within
tucked like a whiskey tin
I will walk from her
