Now I sit back and realize what’s to come
Slowly close my eyes and feel my body go numb
There’s nothing I can do to interrupt this sequence
I feel like I have become a victim of happenstance
Watch as its waves take over my being
Try to stay calm, and identify this feeling
Should I just give it control and no longer question
If it is harmful or maybe ponder its intention
So this is my conclusion
To this everlasting confusion
I release all my worry, again relinquish my doubt
I’m sorry to say, I cannot hear you out.
