RE: Self Doubt; An Original Haiku

in #poetry7 years ago

Greetings, Friend! :D

The rollercoaster of life keeps me struggling... But I'm trying to get my hand back into doing some writing, as I've been sort of down in the dumps for some time now. Just haven't had the energy to write.

Truth is, though, that writing actually seems to generate some of its own energy! So I just have to do it. ;)

Thanks for stopping in and saying "Hey." How are you keeping? What did you learn from Paul today? We're getting ready to head out to church... :D

Sort:

We discussed his letters to the Colossians, and the encouragement on what we should make of ourselves , in order for us to Trust in Him , and for Him to be able to trust in us.

Thanks for sharing...

The first chapter of Colossians contains what, to me, is one of the most utterly remarkable descriptions of our LORD Jesus and his purpose and plan:

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven."
- Colossians 1:15-20

Jesus/God, the Creator and sustainer of the entire universe, whose goal is to bring peace, reconciliation, and unity throughout it.

My daily prayer is "Thy kingdom come." ;)
