I was inspired to post this by @andysantics48, a friend I met through @markrmorrisjr at #dolphinschool. I have met great and wonderful people here at Steemit. And its been an awesome ten days for me filled with impact,
I just feel we live on the edge nowadays, constant threats by world powers to each other and civil wars in recent times in some African countries has painted bleak realities;
War
out of the blues,
we lived to die again,
our souls dodging hatreds
desecrating holy pebbles
sleeping amidst the sand.
holy sadness boiled on the face of our palms,
the wind muttering murders of mortals
soaked in selfish liberation.
our morals swam in unending storms
as bones dissolved in pebbles,
children combed cobwebs
in search of reminisce of peace
the blood that stained family pictures
spoke of yesterday's love turned sour
but father once warned,
wars are like fires started with crumbs of coal
fueled by principles, morals and hatreds.
i forced my throat on the pictures
drained in blood and
i poured wonders in a cup
creasing my heads
in the hallucinations I was soaked in.
Okay, that's it.
We loose a lot through wars. Humanity is in dire need of help right now and that is why my campaign against bullying is still relevant. Join me here

This is a such a good post. I support what you'r doing and I think it's amazing to see humans caring about humanity, 'cause who else is going to? Your poem it's also very well written, and although I haven't been through a war, I can relate to some kind of civil war happening right now in my country. It doesn't compare to this, but it's another example of lack of humanity. Thank you for sharing this!
