Our daughter, #Sonya's #broken #wings

Her name was Sonya.
Her father was the sun.
Her mother the storm.
Home was no joy, no love no fun.
They had to sign the forms,for a legal divorce.
Storm was given custody,Sonya was her Joy.
Her mother gave her wings,
Like mother; like daughter
They flew from her father.
Sonya's beautiful wings.

Sonya had a new desire, she longed for her father.
His warmth and his fire, the smiles she admired.
Away from the storm, higher and higher.
Flying to the sun, closer to her father.
He set her wings on fire, cast her back to her mother.
He didn’t mean to do it, It was just in his nature.
He was only being the sun.
Sonya's wings, broken and burnt.

His heart was in pain,
for #his #daughter’s #broken #wings.
So sad that his love, she will never understand.
With a broken heart he set, never to rise.
The sun is gone, so is Sonya and Storm.
If the two cannot be one, love will never be enough.
Everything could be lost.
