All around watched like an hawk
Expectant on the news for defeat
To celebrate my “foolishness” they say
Imparted with true vision
Crystal clear my destiny revealed
So I navigate the right direction
Infected with the DNA of a lion
I drank from the cup of boldness
And embrace courage to face mountains
Crossing through the fires
In pain and tears birthing scars
Soon all gone like a mirage
Determination the gravity against discouragement
Persistence the enemy to “giving up”
Vision the unlimited fuel to destiny
Alas! They watch me soar like an eagle
