The original clarity you once were
With still blue waters
Sparkling as the sun reflects
While the blue sky mirrors.
Fishes dwell, gives tons of harvest
to the hardworking fishermen.
Children swim without worries
of diseases that can be acquired.
However, greed took over
the minds of people with selfish agenda.
Abused the waters
which is the wealth for those
who cleanly works.
People nearby caused its destruction
with rubbish into the waters.
Killing fishes, smelly waters.
Illness spreads, nasty scene.
The nature is crying
Yet people doesn't listen
to the voice as they continue
to deteriorate the river's state.
Save the rivers for the future generation.
Don't be shameless
for the disgusting inheritance
your children will receive from you.
Stop the destruction,
clean up the rivers before it turns to vain.

I feel really bad for our polluted rivers. It is so sad that we are destroying our mother earth.
This is such a great poem to also give awareness to people to save the rivers because you are right, they will still be sources of income to the fishermen if they are only clean and healthy fishes dwell. I hope people will start to open their eyes with this matter.. Let's save mother earth. Let's save the rivers.
this time in the whole world there is shortage of water everywhere.. so we should not pollute the rivers as well as other sources..in future it is hard to maintain the water balance on the earth due to different climate changes.

The change starts in us right now. Take care of the environment you are in. There is no better time to start but now. NOW! Don't be ashamed to pick up trash wherever you are and dispose of them properly. People will be influenced by what you do and copy it.
