Trying to get close to you;

You ask a lot
Without saying much,

And your silence
Thunders…

Makes me ponder
What you want

And I’m left
Unravelling the knot
Of us.

Yeah, you ask too much

No wonder people
Get caught up

Maybe they should listen.

You’re like rain
Or a train in the distance

And it’s good
To be quiet
And strain to hear

Your wordless whispers
Fill my ears...

Yeah, sometimes
It’s good
Just to lie here...

And listen.
