it is about time to make a gap
yawning in the early afternoon
is this just an old folk's trap?
or maybe just some lucky boon?
drowsily listening to the radio
fading in and out of transmission
sleep losing and gripping flow
creating today's sleepy division
what does it benefit us to snooze?
am i not wasting this time in bed?
although it's time here we lose
we regain the clarity in our head
thirty minutes will do the trick
eyes again rested and open wide
brain's contents a bit less thick
feeling refreshed and amplified!

Last night @snook asked us to write a poem about a nap without using the actual word nap... I was a bit late reading her messages and when i did i was kinda drunk... So, after taking a long nap i wrote this little poem in the hope that my "homework" will get a good grade :D
