RE: Oral Twizzles | Revising Outline

in #poetry7 years ago (edited)

Great imagery in this piece, the emotion is palpable.

Golly, so much intensity around oral sex, I just kinda would like to watch the Winter Olympics instead. Or more accurately Mozart in the Jungle (not a massive "sports"guy).

Also, the concept of us being "biological expressions of an original AI" is pretty apt... That's all humans are, really computers with emotions, for better or worse. Out biological make up just do happened to be effective and efficient at doing so, completely by chance. Countless sci-fi euros argue that non-biological construction would be even more efficient, because, hey, death and disease wouldn't be an issue.

Also also, yes please, more Black Mirror Erotica for all! But I don't think hurting Devon is the answer, the concept of just dealing and struggling with the fact that she's falling for a sex bot, or that she is enjoying it a little too much perhaps is a struggle enough.

Huge praise! Imagery! OH yeah!

The intensity and the push and pull of oral was exactly the intent so I'm glad you felt it. Maybe a quickie will do sometimes to let the body rest in relaxation afterwards.

I thought the same about "biological computers" moving to technological ones like electricity, robots, etc. What happens when there is an EMP, or the power goes out? Or a piece breaks. our bodies heal themselves, and are generally very good at repair and resiliency. We can withstand extreme environments and are adaptable. We just, die. Maybe the logical expression of the non-biological AI's was to stuff themselves back into organic matter and have better lives. Like it is all a cycle given enough time.

Hmmm. Interesting thought. That the emotional experience and the ramifications of her budding obsession and response to it are enough struggle to be interesting. I was going for a betrayal; like she was falling for this robot device, and it betrayed her with errant programing and soured her on the whole experience. I'm going to mull this over. thank you for the suggestion.
