The Survivor
the survivor's
portmanteau
packed haphazardly
sealed with a tear-rusted key
without thought
of the inevitable
unloading
of fractal wormholes
the promise and precious pulverized
chaos
helixed upon itself
coiled and warped
in oxidized springs
there is only so much potential
the prodigal can contain
before she explodes
kinetic emotion
whirls and accretes
memories morph to matter
gain surreal weight
coalesce
create
nurture
slip into shackles
collapse
crushed by one's own density
evolution, enlightenment
swallowed and consumed
in the final event horizon
a psychic singularity
it's done
she is alone
but whole
at rest
in a mental realm
removed and dark
melancholy obtains
immortality and beauty
the survivor must
map a new cosmos
with heavy a head
fingers locked
interlaced
gripped tight
by apparitions
she opens her eyes
it begins again
