you have to frame your prompts to target something. Like have it give you prompts on a suite of themes (fruit, landscape, scientific terms) or have it give you challenged (take a 30 word poem and condense to 10 words). The more focused your prompt is the better results you'll get.
But I would also read poetry journals and other poets from different time periods. Just reading that will awaken a new perspective to guide you.
