Author's note: I've been posting some poems from a short collection of mine called Artefacts of Desire, looking at questions of love, life, and meaning... whilst trying to integrate ideas of technology, time, and... weird abstract shit... into my work. Anyway, enjoy, upvote if it gives you value, and please follow me if you want to see more.

Collapsing

We enter the collapsing space
a shocked nullity of time
spurious thoughts lob and lull
about the spiralled hall
empty place
nowhere
zero-thing

gravel crackles its static
time walls into our grave
(digital tomb)
our deaths haemorrhage
their numbers

I catch you seething
digital tears
on the empty step
waiting for
the inevitable
reconstruction
