Hey @margaretwise . Awesome that I won 1st prize in this week's #poemchallenge, and EVEN MORE awesome that I won the 1 SBD - which is worth ~ $9. I will be converting that to Steem and powering up. Just an idea, but you might want to give something like 0.5 SBD for 2nd place, and 0.25 for 3rd, as that will incentivise people more. For instance, I have won 2nd and 3rd place in your contest a FEW times, and it surely would have been motivating to win even 0.25 SBD (which is equivalent to ~ $2.00 - enough for a few pots of tea to fuel one's writing. Just an idea.
