hehe - He makes the trip in the end.. twice, if I am not mistaken. This director explores many novel ways to show the viewer that those ordinary perspective we take for granted, hold lessons for all of us. In this case, the child as the main character with a firm grasp on what is important, in contrast with the adults who essentially miss the whole point. Thank God for subtitles, we can enjoy these excellent films.
