Barren daughter of Zeus, tragically twice abused,
your sister flourished while you paid dearly
for your father’s power and your mother’s vengeful jealousy.
Does insomnia still steal your sleep,
with one eye open watching for him?
He confused power passion and possession with love and laughter.
To be free of your mother’s curse,
can you chance a fruitful bite of fate,
knowing that knowledge cannot counter loneliness?
You and your sister, both fleeced by fate,
will never be free of your manacled masks,
as long as you question each other’s wisdom and truth.
Embrace and support your shadow: the you that you dread.
Barren and beautiful, sad and happy,
redemption can part the clouds and reveal your legacy.

- This is so common amongst those that claim to 'love' another!

- It's so important to embrace our shadows and dance with them... not try to deny or hide them!
These were my favorite parts from the poem. Amazing writing... so far this is my fav... it touches deep but offers resolution too... amazing work.
