Wow I don't know where to start, I love that you want to try out all the forms of poetry, such a great initiative you're taking! And an elegy to an alien captain, that's rad, great imagination! The repetition of the name plays well, like a psalmody, you can picture the hopes of the narrator crumbling before your eyes. I'm eager to see the next one. Good luck on your poetic journey!
