Juliet rozpoczyna swój wymarzony staż w hotelu Empire Height. Chce w końcu udowodnić swojej starszej siostrze, że jest coś warta i ta nie będzie musiała jej utrzymywać. Jedno krótkie spotkanie, jedno niefortunne wydarzenie sprawia, że kobieta staje na celowniku bardzo niebezpiecznych ludzi. Z tego względu przez najbliższy czas znajdzie się pod opieką swojego szefa, który swoją drogą również nie ma wobec niej uczciwych zamiarów. Bynajmniej na początku... Z dnia na dzień Juliet poznaje coraz tragiczniejsze fakty ze swojej przeszłości, o których nie miała pojęcia. Powrót do normalności staje się coraz bardziej niemożliwy.
Może moja opinia zabrzmi ostrzej niż zazwyczaj, ale "Fatalne związki" okazały się bardzo rozczarowującą lekturą. Raz, że fabuła tu kompletnie jest bezsensowna to główna bohaterka, z resztą jak i Adrian to postacie pozbawione jakiegokolwiek charakteru, który pozwoliłby przyciągnąć zainteresowanie czytelnika. Książka ma 454 strony, i przez cały ten czas Juliet nie przestała mnie irytować. Greene ma 22 lata, a zachowuje się gorzej niż nastolatka. Kompletnie nic jej nie pasuje i o wszystko się obraża. Ciągle powtarza, że nie płacze, a tak naprawdę przeryczała conajmniej połowę tej historii. W dodatku uważa, że wszystko kręci się w około niej.
O jakiejkolwiek namiętności czy zwykłej chemii pomiędzy bohaterami nie ma mowy. Nie doczekałam się żadnego deszczyku emocji, czego mi naprawdę bardzo brakowało.
Tak naprawdę jedynym plusem tej książki jest to, że szybko się ją czytało. Szkoda tylko, że nic, ale to nic nie wniosła w moje życie. Spodziewałam się fajnego romansu, a tak naprawdę z romansem ta książka miała nie wiele wspólnego. Niestety, ale rozczarowanie jest tak duże, że nie planuję sięgać więcej po twórczość autorki.

Juliet starts her dream internship at the Empire Height Hotel. She wants to prove to her older sister that she is worth something and that she can be independent . One brief meeting, one unfortunate event makes a woman the target of very dangerous people. For this reason, in the near future she will be under the care of her boss, who, by the way, also has no honest intentions towards her. Day by day, Juliet learns more and more traumatic facts about her past, which she had no idea about. Going back to normal becomes more and more difficult .
My opinion may sound harsher than usual, but "Fatal Liaisons" proved to be a very disappointing read.
Firstly, the whole story is slightly pointless, the main character and as majority of them really lack any spine or personality. Secondly, nothing here strikes my interest.
The book is 454 pages long, and throughout that time Juliet hasn't stopped annoying me. Greene is 22 years old and he is worse than a teenager. Nothing is good enough for her at all and everything offends her.
She keeps saying she's not crying, and she actually cried through at least half of the story. In addition, she believes that everything revolves around her. There is no passion or simple chemistry between the characters. There was no blast of emotions, which I really missed. In fact, the only positive of this book is that it reads easily. It is a pity but it did bring a big fat nothing to my life. I was expecting a nice romance, and in fact this book had little to no romance. Unfortunately, the disappointment is so great that I do not plan to reach for the author's work any more, left a bad taste in my mouth.
Właśnie na taki kontent czekałam! Nie mogę się doczekać recenzji następnych książek :) Może tym razem coś z fantastyki?
Aktualnie w kolejce jest komedia kryminalna, obyczajówka świąteczna i kryminał. Jeśli chodzi o fantastykę to obecnie czekam z niecierpliwością na premierę "Krwi i popiołu" Jennifer L. Armentrout, a na półce czeka na przeczytanie "Uczeń nekromanty" 😍

Each candle has diffetent scent. Champagne, white- chocolate and white christmas - very subtle scent.
It is so refreshing to read a book review that isn't all glowing and positive. There is a lot of junk published out there! But of course, a lot of great stuff, too.
