RE: Buddyjska perspektywa na przeciwności. /A Buddhist Perspective on Adversity [POL/ENG]

Great context to understand the buddhist story and its meaning. Some adversities are blessings in disguise when we look back and ponder after the moment has passed.

Bear the pain, as you've chosen your gain.

I love this quote!! It's a good way to understand that pain is a prerequisite for achieving any type of gain.

This is not a literal translation, however I like this one too, it fits. Literally, my mom's words would be " suffer body, as you wanted to". It's more words of condamnation for reckless choices and pointing to personal responsibility of such. But yeah, there is always some gain, one way or the other :)

I see, the essence of the message is there and this one seems to convey it more. Reckless choices always carry consequences, sometimes serious ones. Good to remember and practice personal responsibility before engaging in them.
