The most powerful of the Earth, not necessarily the most wise of the Earth, has been ruling our society(s) for centuries.
Not to say that I mean the government(s).
The business sector determines, as a rule, the course that countries take.
The thought that governments should move public opinion comes to mind.
It is not about your or my safety.
It's about public opinion.
Misleading news, misleading arguments.
If you think about all the details, and I do, then you can see how eg internet currency is promoted as "the good".
Internet currency would turn the tide.
I do not see that happening at all.
I expect it to involve a shift of power.
Why?
Because people are greedy and corrupt right down to the core.
Oops, I can not say that of course.
Shortages, that's what our society is all about.
A shortage of living space. Are the new powers of the Earth going to solve that problem?
A shortage of food distribution, are the new powers of the Earth going to solve it?
A shortage of clean drinking water, are the new mighty ones of the Earth going to solve it?
Will the new powers of the Earth solve crime?
Will the new mighty of the Earth cleanse our waters?
Will the new powers of the Earth make wars a thing of the past?
Will the new powers of the Earth start to change their mindset?
I think everyone already understands the expected answer to all these questions.
Greed, covetousness, short-sighted tunnel visions, and the thoughts that everyone must fight for themselves, will prevail. Of course there will be exceptions to the rule. They are there today too. However, they have never reached their goals.
And as is currently the case in politics/business, it will be personal interests. The interests of the big companies will continue to determine the political direction.
Nothing will change on balance.
There will be no change in mentality.
People who acquire power, has been proven over the centuries, will use their power to impose their own ideas and interests.
Other puppets, different method (perhaps), but the same outcome can be expected. The gap between rich and poor remains a gap between rich and poor.
Hunger will not be a thing of the past.
Wars will continue to be waged for the reasons why they are now being waged.
Other puppets, same outcome.
And why?
Because one can not let go of the programming that money is necessary. That there must be a means of exchange.
And then things will go just as well, under rules and legislation, but rules and legislation will change. Moreover, rules and legislation can be ignored, such as France (and how could it be otherwise) the US, when they invaded Libya in 2011.
Integrity is only a word.
And doesn't come into action.
And how that has influenced the people through the ages, those who want to live with integrity can hardly keep their heads above water.
Making money in a fair way seems almost impossible.
And become rich in an honest way, that is doomed to fail because the system does not allow it.
It has traditionally been the case that notables (business owners) fraternise with the gentlefolk and thus exert influence on the political direction of the country. And that is so far still the case.
The shift is therefore in the notables who can influence the gentlefolk, who then direct the political direction their way.
Equality for everyone is not the goal.
That is only rhetoric to put everyone against each other in the discussion who to blame for that no real equality arises.
Those who have their eyes open see that equality is not being performed anywhere in the world.
And fighting for it is pointless. Just because people are not equal. People differ. Incidentally, I must say that the principle of equality does not say that people are equal. That's gross abuse of those who do not understand Constitution Article 1 (in the Netherlands).
Another term; equivalence.
But people are also not equal to each other.
One can have a high IQ but a low EQ, where another has a lower of IQ but a high EQ. Characters differ. Mentities differ. By which will effectively put down a different dignity in word and deed.
Competitiveness and competition ... You would think that this would result in people with the best skills or products rising in status. But we see that this is not going on. The more clandistine, the higher the status and thus the more influence one can exercise.
There is still a great belief that politics is in the service of the people. It was the deception of the elite during the time that democracy was introduced.
Politics has so much freedom to serve the people as the elite allow. If it is not in the interests of the elite that the people should be served, politicians will be of service to the elite.
Should public opinion turn to the formation of a RBE, then the elite has a few possibilities; to establish the RBE or to break down public opinion with false reports and false promises for improvement.
Fortunately that will not happen.
In order to start a RBE, a change in mentality will have to be found where integrity and solidarity will move humanity into trust in each other. And that is not going to happen.
Despite the propaganda from many quarters (including Hollywood) that good will overcome evil, I can assure you that evil will always rule over the good.
This has simply to do with a large group that will live in fear of not getting enough. And another group that will have no problems selling an other short without thinking twice about is.
