Some of your posts resonate with where I am in the moment. I've been going through a bout of sadness recently and what you wrote totally made sense to me at the time. I don't have much of a strategy here on SteemIt, beyond the basics -- post stuff when you have time and upvote things you like.

A lot of the voting behavior that happens here I find difficult to understand. What makes a post worth exactly 23% of an upvote? I understand that there are people with 10X my SP so whereas my upvote counts as $0.01 theirs counts as $0.10, but what's $0.09 really worth? How often do we walk by a grimy penny that we see on the ground? It isn't worth our time to bend over and pick it up. Is it worth the time it takes to calculate that giving exactly a $0.01 upvote means setting the vote to 23%? I doubt it.

From my limited perspective a vote is a vote is a vote and once I vote I wait a while and I get to vote again. I'm not passing out limited edition gold bullion. Our voting power is constantly being restored.

Spoken like a wise man!
