How to Defeat the Republican Snowflakes and Their Snowflake-in-Chief

in #politics7 years ago

trumpsnowflake.png

How is it possible that the Republican Party can campaign endlessly on repealing Obamacare, but as soon as they get the power to do it, they fail? All they had to do was vote! The American people clearly voted for their "representatives" to do something ... and they didn't do it! Calling the GOP the party of smaller government is like calling a blackjack dealer your financial advisor. Saying the GOP is responsive to its constituents is like saying that the guy who's got you tied up in his basement is a great waiter. Calling Republicans honest is like calling the sky orange. (Not that they're any better than Democrats, but I don't even need to drag them into this to prove that the very concept of centralized government is fundamentally criminal.)

So ... why?! I haven't really followed the recent drama of congressional Republican snowflakes and snowflake-in-chief, Mr Trump. I don't particularly care to watch their fake spines melt out of their fake faces as they lie through their fake teeth. For a long time after Trump was elected, my pinned tweet was, "Any Trump supporters want to bet against me that government will shrink under Trump?" I haven't had a single taker to date.

When Trump was elected, the American people voted for someone "to be in charge of them." If you're looking for a leader, you're going to get a ruler, and you probably deserve it for not taking charge of your life and leading yourself! This could be said to be the source of all government corruption. If power corrupts, and we don't want corruption, maybe we should stop giving people power! (Just to defend myself from the piss of the pedantics, I'm referring to political power here.)

So if you really don't like Obamacare, and your answer was to trust the Republicans, I've got a government bridge to sell you. If it wasn't obvious and undeniable before, it had better be now: the Republicans are the apologist wing of the Democratic Party. While Democrats are open about wanting to grow government, Republicans pretend to be about smaller government in order to pacify the Americans who still care about freedom to serve the same agenda of GROWING government. If you want government to keep growing out of control, keep voting Republican. (Just for the record, trying to get the Republican Party to reform or be honest is like trying to get Trump to ... reform or be honest.)

If you genuinely love freedom, it's time to find an honest foundation for that love, because denial isn't working. Democrats and Republicans are both corrupt big government parties which primarily exist to serve their special interest sponsors. Libertarians are the only ones offering you a credible alternative. The only way that we defeat this grotesque government is to take it apart from the top down. It would be far easier to elect someone to dismantle the entire federal government than find an honest elected Republican, and that's what it's going to take to defeat big centralized government once and for all!

I agree with you on the fact that the Libertarian Party is the only credible alternative to the corrupt government that the United States has had for centuries. Unfortunately, it's still a THIRD party and it has a long, very long way to go to achieve anything in this country. If you analyze the American sentiment, this is very unlikely as US citizens tend to favor not "throwing away" their vote. Until the Libertarian Party grows to become a force in the Senate, their agenda is worthless.

Haha "pedantics", what, you knew I was reading? It's good to know you're thinking of me too Adam! 😃

As a cooperative agorist I'm all for voting in self defence. The agorist idea of rejecting voting on principle even when liberty depends on it, that's pacifism. You know what? That dog don't hunt.

Fascists can do whatever they want if we just leave the the democratic process in their hands. Libertarians shouldn't walk out unless we know we can at least shield ourselves against the misuse of power that would likely follow.

Once again, thank you for your wise words and work Adam!

I agree about with the part: don't give people power.
I say give theme STEEMPOWER

When dealing with bootlicking neocons, I bring up evey contradiction with the constitution. When they realize the document they supposedly supported contradicts their current views, they become more susceptable to have the paradigm punctured. Or you know, you could just call them commies because that's what they are.

They should've built a system that didn't rely on First-Past-The-Post voting, which guarantees a consolidation of power as opposed to coalitions.

in politics you are never right

If power corrupts, and we don't want corruption, maybe we should stop giving people power!

This is pure, distilled, concentrated libertarianism right here.

"If you're looking for a leader, you're going to get a ruler"

Right on!

"The only way that we defeat this grotesque government is to take it
apart from the top down"

I think this is partially true. However, it's not the "only" way. Building new systems to replace the old systems is a bottom up effort that also needs to be done. How are "top down" decisions going to build new societal structures based in non-violence? How do you enforce top-down decisions when people don't go along with it?

Just points I brought up to think about. As you pointed out, seeking a leader might be an issue. What if people start looking to you as their leader?

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” ~ R. Buckminster Fuller

I agree. The only way to influence and eventually influence the top is if enough people at the bottom adopt a different way of life. The only change we'all see these days is from the ground-up. The tops pockets are too deep and their care is only reserved for themselves.

Im glad to find a few libertarians on steemit, though i guess it shouldnt be a suprise. (Assuming your a libertarian if not sorry). I hope everyday our two party system will die a cold hard death anytime in the near future.

There are lots of libertarians on Steemit if you know where to look. Most of the ones I follow are of the anarchist wing, but there are a few minarchists as well. In fact, I'd say that libertarians pretty much founded Steemit (not speaking for Dan and Ned here) because I rarely found anyone else posting when I first joined last year. Regardless, welcome to Steemit.

Thanks. After reading your article and thinking about it, this is a logical platform for us/them to be drawn to.

Agreed, we need to build up these communities. We expanded heavily on instagram. Time for decentralized media. Gave you a follow

Well @adamkokesh it seems to me that you have an extremely deep understanding of the way our country is actually run , and who is really in charge , when you were talking about counting on the #Republicans , most of them have been campaigning for the past 6 to 7 years on the platform of repeal / replace and most running strictly on just repeal , scrap it . But the real kicker to all this is the Republicans have passed a full repeal vote in the house and senate and it didn't matter because Barrack Hussien Obama was waiting , sword in hand , ready to strike down any attempt to muddy his legacy with a swift veto of the pen . Republicans sent a repeal bill up on numerous occasions during the past 7 years , and they could all seem to swallow there pride and come together and vote for a repeal to make there constituents " WE THE PEOPLE " think " oh yea there ready to go to bat and get this done , if that damn Obama would hurry up and term out maby we can get someone in there that will sign the damn bill "
Now that they could get the bill signed , all the sudden the Freedom Caucus isn't satisfied with this part , then the moderates want more of something over here , oh yea we can't forget the #Conservatives , Texas Ted Cruz , and Rand Paul who oppose the bill at every turn , and guess what that is fine , if you dont think that this is best for The American People , and you all cant come to a common ground / " REPUBLICANS " / " DEMOCRATS "/ then guess what Republicans ? Do what you have done 2 dozen times in the past 6 years now , and vote on a Straight Repeal of The Affordable Care Act ( #REPEALOBAMACARE ) and pass it , come together and get the 5o votes like they already have proved they can pull off THEY HAVE DONE IT ALREADY , only when it seems like it dose not matter , how convenient ? Come together Make it happen its your job.

But that wont happen because of exactly what @adamkokesh is saying in this post , both political party's could care less about " We The People " , unless we the people are flocking like sheep to there Big Government Propagandized welfare state we like to call #America . As long as we can help elect more people that will grow the government we will be giving our country , that your fathers , Great Grandfathers , and Mothers , Great Grandmothers ,fought , died , sweat , and bled to have what you have today and if your willing to give something so precious away with so little of a fight ? god help you , cause i know ill be able to say never once did I waiver from the morals , values , work ethic and strong family bonds & ties that I was raised in , and will proudly pass down to my son of 5 months .

Steem ONNNNNNNNN MY FELLOW STEEMIANS YOU KEEP ME SANE THANKYOU

Thanks for the opportunity to actually come across some real content @adamkokoesh ill be following , with a upvote and a resteem , Thanks again

Very important is to understand that power does NOT corrupt! The only problem with power is the form that is power OVER. Power, by definition, is simply the ability to act - you need it just to type.

I like this kind of comedy well done

DUMP TRUMP!!!!

Trump is your president and loves you.

BS...he loves only himself...

It's interesting to see Liberals using a Conservative term like Snowflake. Who knew they was that cool to copy.

What liberals are using it? Snowflakes from the left and right melt at exactly the same temperature. ;)

Actually snowflakes are the ones complaining about trump and trying to turn the tables on those calling them snowflakes doesn't work just like everything else liberals/libertarians/anarchists have done just blows up in their face. They should be happy trumps not the tyrant they lie and proclaim him to be because if he were then obama, hillary, basically all the rest of their corrupt politicians would have already been investigated and thrown in jail.

By the way they thought they knew how to beat him in 2016 and apparently they still havent wised up. Despite repubs that keep screwing up these libs will just help keep them in office and probably gain even more seats.

Ya, Snowflake didn't go mainstream until the 2016 election when Libs lost. That is when they started rioting and protesting and why we called them snowflakes. I din't care for the previous administration but I wasn't outside destroying my home because of it. I'm not a huge Trump fan either but like how he pisses Republicans off lol

Good for you, in any other country people slinging such muck around as your Hollywood "fake people" (actors) do, they would be charged with high-treason and locked up.

Congratulations @adamkokesh!

"the Republicans are the apologist wing of the Democratic Party" - I love this. Largely because I think it could also be said in reverse about different issues, like war.

Ahhhhhh! Good point.

It seems like you're focused on the Extortion of taxation whereas requiring financial responsibility for medical treatment is simply that. I'm proposing to fund it through a payroll tax, and keeping public care cheap through tort reform. But I think you're avoiding the main question. "What do we do with the 25 million uninsurable people skewing the private market actuarial tables? ". No one will insure them, they don't qualify for Medicaid unless they become wards of the state anyway. Is that your idea of how it should work?

thats politics... during campaign you will give the world to your constituents..... as if everything is possible for you.... not knowing that there are rules set by the state to follow....

and when you win... youll soon realize what you have done.... and you need to do what you have promised....

but one thing is for sure, people will soon realize what they have done.... voting for someone whom they will gain and not what the country would become

Adam we live in a society where we can't all be self sufficient within our own 40 Acres plot. He have to live together and that takes a government to mediate the differing opinions in the world, on how to manage our communal resources.

Excerpt from my Blog Post the other day:

We don't want single payer. We want expanded Medicaid.

Let the insurance companies keep selling insurance to healthy people. It will keep the lines shorter at the public health clinic. We can't stop free enterprise..... We can.... but doing so hurts everyone in the long run like in Venezuela; And if a company wants to refuse service to anyone that's their decision to make, not ours; ours is to simply band together and fund our own public system using payroll taxes and doc stamps money and tort reform limiting liability for public employee doctors and nurses.

We must lobby congress to replace Obamacare with expanded Medicare without means testing and without outlawing private coverage or care.
We must have a public and private care as dueling systems.

Orrrr we could free the market, pay $20 a month, and you could go volunteer at a charity or mutual aid society. Don't steal my money because you don't want to help people yourself.

This works this way in Panama' . The public hospital system works from payroll taxes and the middle class top up with private insurance which allows access to private hospitals who don't treat people without private insurance or cash. My total health insurance bill for the family is $300 per month including the money they extort for the public system but if I contract an incurable debilitating disease Ill probably lose the insurance have to pay cash for service or use the public system.

The US has 20 million or so uninsurable people skewing the actuarial tables that we are subsidizing an insurance company to manage their care. (Frankly it's not insurance if you plan to use it). BUT what will you tell these medically addicted masses? Just go die because you don't qualify for Medicaid yet? What's the answer?

There are many ways to structure a healthcare system. Obamacare obliterated our healthcare system... it's practically slavery to insurance companies at this point. The free market, however, will make things cheap as hell, so it wouldn't cost nearly as much to pay for treatment. Plus, if we get patent law and medical schooling fixed we can reduce prices even further. Why wouldn't you just donate or join a mutual aid society? Again, it seems as if you are avoiding your own moral place in this. Why don't you yourself donate? Would that not accomplish the same thing as asking the government to steal from me?

You're focused on the Extortion whereas requiring financial responsibility for medical treatment is simply that. I'm simply proposing to fund it through a payroll tax, and keeping public care cheap through tort reform. But you're avoiding my question. "What do we do with the 25 million uninsurable people skewing the actuarial tables? ". No one will insure them, they don't qualify for Medicaid unless they become wards of the state anyway. Is that your idea of how it should work?

i cannot get that when majority of the voters voted for democrats but the result was in the favor of republicans as they won and form the government, the result changed due to electoral college, so if the result can be over turned by such a college than what is the need for public voting

and result of all this is in the shape of Mr Trump , so bear Mr Trump till he is there and his policies

We have to vote. It's majority rules but wins are limited to each State. It's not a National Election. It's 50 separate elections with each state worth so many points also known as Electoral College Votes. This is meant to prevent the overpopulated city centers (who live in liberal echo chambers) from having too much influence on the Country as a whole.

I'd say electoral college ftw then. Democracies have always fallen to authoritarian mob-rule with leaders bribing and taking advantage of ignorant people through government-provided "bread and circuses". People in cities have always been more susceptible to this, as social interaction is much more prevalent and concentrated. This leads to more group-think, which is antithetical to freedom. The founders knew this, so they gave rural areas more votes in the electoral college to restrain the factions in the population-dense cities. Also, what @adconner said.

Even though our government is corrupt, we still have to have it. The people would kill and loot if there was no authority anywhere.

"Democrats and Republicans are both corrupt big government parties which primarily exist to serve their special interest sponsors"
I agree with that, but there wont be change and if there was change, there would be mass causalities.

Oh, so refreshing to find a post like this! I'm not from the US, and so I have no part in your politics, but just the other day I was thinking, 'wow, at this rate, Clinton would probably have been a better choice'. That is BAD. I've been disgusted by everything Clinton ever since Bill bombed Baghdad just to prop up his popularity. Everywhere, even up here, we're getting squeezed between the far-right an far-left, and I am sick of it. BOTH are friggin' snowflakes. Thanks for standing up for sanity.

(Not) surprisingly Reagan and Bush Jr. have the biggest slopes. Let's continue loving these neocons and neoliberals, they are our true trojan horse in the system...

Democrats are digging their own grave with this Russia hacked the election bs. Right now I see them losing MORE seats in congress in 2018.

i was just talking about this to family members. The poor saps who voted for these charlatans didn't ask them to "replace" anything. If this situation doesn't make it obvious to them that the two "parties" are just two colored halves on the parade mask, then nothing will. Unfortunately, many will think they are the ones who thought of the "replace" mandate and will clamor for it.

Do you think the animosity from the Republican establishment (Paul Ryan, John McCain, Lindsey Graham specifically) is all a show and Trump was really their desired candidate?

Third party is simply not happening in the immediate future, barring a catastrophic/paradigm-shifting event.

I would be willing to bet we see things quite clearly in regards to what we both believe the size and scope of government SHOULD look like, but based on this post, I'm betting we disagree strongly on how to get there quickly with as little bloodshed as possible.

Do you think a legislative and executive branch being unable to function despite being owned by a single party is catastrophic/paradigm-shifting enough?

In my opinion, they've been the party of no for so long, they've forgotten how to govern.

This is just a demonstration of what it looks like when an unelected bureaucracy with access to the nations highest SIGINT has the ability to blackmail the legislative branch. Party doesn't matter. There are controlled, and uncontrolled, IMO.

There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.

Excellent article until the very end where you say the libertarians are the only ones offering a credible alternative. I supported Gary Johnson so I understand. However, the libertarians as a party (funny-as I typed party, pastry is what appeared) are really offerlittle more than the same old my way or the highway rhetoric that we see from the 2 parties. Very disheartening for me.When oh when will we see candidates who speak directly to the issues in a way that attempts to unify instead of polarize? I know it's impossible to please everyone but good grief you don't have to marginalize or disenfranchise people to get your point across. Somehow the left and right must meet in the middle somehow. Did I say somehow? It will take a special kind of communicator to pull that off but I think it's possible. Just picture the opposite of Trump and Hillary and their ability to disenfranchise people and maybe that's what I'm looking for in a candidate.

By the way, I resteemed and will also share on FB.

Is anyone else tired of the "to the victor go the spoils" mentality in politics? They're battling for our lives and whatever they can do to gather the most people to them them so be it regardless the cost to those who don't support them. Libertarian party included.

As Libertarians we need to be very wary of imposters and detractors running on the Libertarian platform. As it becomes obvious to both sides of the political spectrum that the government is completely corrupt and inept libertarianism is becoming more popular - we cannot afford to have people who do not embody libertarian values further complicating the perception of libertarianism, just IMHO.

The government will fall one day as it always will as history has showed us. I hate economic status... the world would benefit from a tribe mentality. Everyone works for another and the only goal is for the tribe to flourish. Rep, Dem, & Lib they are all groups that exclude and say they can do it better. If an American leaves their country n goes some where else they are still called an American. Rich, poor, educated or not we all live under the same roof and would benefit from unity, some technological advances, and a true heart dedicated to the land and the ppl who live on it. Ijs

Adam, if you abolish the federal government, the states will close off their borders to Mexico and end nearly all immigration. I hope you know this. Either way, sounds like a win-win to me!

When Trump was elected, the American people voted for someone "to be in charge of them."
absolutely, completely totally WRONG.
Trump didn't win.
Hilliary lost.
The american people would have voted crotch rot other than her.

Nice post!

By the way, does anyone want to play Mr. President?
https://steemit.com/meme/@filmeme/hello-mister-president

i have read most of the posts on here and i have yet to see anyone address the true health care question? why is it so friggin expensive and i dont mean the insurance i mean the care, i got 8 stitches in my calf 800 dollars, probably 5 dollars worth of supplies and anymore you dont see a doctor its always a PA or np or whatever they come up with so why in the hell am i paying doctor prices and not seeing a doctor and how about this there are 330 million people in america so if everybody paid 1 dollar a day thats 330 million dollars aday times 365 that would be 12 trillon 45 billion dollars a year so why dont we just go that route and if thats not enough money to make sure every person in this country has high quality o deductible everything included medical care then we got an even bigger problem than i thought.

Because of lack of free markets.
