This happens in most countries where the president or the sitting government oppresses it's citizens with either the police or the army for coming out on a peace protest as regards to what they feel is not going on fine in the country.
This shows that there is no freedom of speech or peaceful demonstration and it is really sad. This people tend to forget that the same masses you are fighting today voted you into power and can bring you down. There should be freedom of speech and association.
