Are They Really That Stupid?

in #politics6 years ago (edited)

Is the outcome of open boarders really so hard to foresee? Is the bankruptcy of America one of those too big to fail fantasies? Are the consequences of failure to uphold laws some sort of mystery that no really knows what will happen? History is filled with the consequences of these irresponsible actions or failures to act. What happens if you fill your house with too many people? What happens if you spend too much money? What happens if you don't prosecute people for criminal activity? If you put too many people in your house it is soon no longer your house. If you spend all your money and can no longer pay your debts you go bankrupt. If you don't punish criminals you get more criminal activity.

Did no one who supports open boarders, fiscal irresponsibility, and selective law enforcement pass history class? Or is it that they just don't care? Or maybe they want the US to go down in flames. I suppose that if people are embarrassed by the success of the US and feel guilty about it they may want the country to shoot itself in the foot. However, there are people here who want to leave the country better off for their offspring than when they found it. Do they get a say? That's right they did get their say on November 8th 2016. Those same people can make another statement like that on November, 6th, 2018. Let's see let anybody into the country, spend money like a fool, and only obey the laws we like or think important to ourselves. Or be careful who comes in, use money wisely, and obey the laws or use the process in place to change them. I guess it comes down to acting like a child or acting like an adult.
