Let's do this in order and I hope I don't get too pedantic or digress too wildly.
Entropy is a theory I do not subscribe in. It is rooted in Big Bang mythology which obviously I have issues with as well. I could ramble on this one point alone, but I shall refrain. Energy is neither created or destroyed, it can only be converted. Thermodynamic law #1(TL1).

I disagree with Mr Rifkin, I see no association with the rise of our use of energy and fascism and would suggest it is quite the opposite. The more energy we use suggests the more abundance we have, less abundance indicates less energy. The rise in fascism that we have been witnessing in the world is multifaceted but largely is being driven by poverty, immigration and lack of work. For clarity, I am not against immigration I myself am an immigrant to Canada, but what is happening in Europe is being driven by the psychopathic oligarchs attempting to set up a Hegelian dialectic. Immigrants from wartorn countries and who is doing the warring. It has long been known that this is the MO of the international cabal of bankers led by the Rothchild family. By driving these immigrants into Europe en masse, they are destabilizing the European countries. Lack of work leaves too many frustrated and again they need an outlet for their anger and fascism tends to appeal to this anger. These divides weaken a society, ergo why I am so against ideology as it is divisive and in many instances a tool of the oligarchs.

Energy is effectively infinite. The problem is the means to assess it is being kept from us, or more appropriately, the science that would allow us to develop such means of collection are being kept from us via the standard model and Einsteinian gravity. Not Einstein himself of course but his theory regarding gravity as a prime force in the universe when the electric field is 10^39 times stronger. This is being done by the propaganda machine of the oligarchs known as mainstream mass media.
The reason for the power elite is primal in some ways, based on a belief that the elite are the alpha while we the masses are gammas. Most monarchies had the belief that they were chosen by God, thus the crown and its radiating rays representing sun worship(corona) and up to the advent of the Council of Nicea most people were sun worshippers and saw the sun as god and then it was the sun of god until it became the son of God and wisdom was lost.
Up till the 20th century Monarchies ruled, to take them down the banking cabal promoted democracy and then came the French Revolution and off with their heads was the refrain of the day. These monarchs to escape this rising up moved to the new world where they became the heads of industry and capitalism became their mantra as these few controlled the means of production in the burgeoning industrial age over the seemingly endless masses. But democracy, as predicted by Marx, got away from the oligarchs as everyone wanted a say. 1913 saw the creation of the Fed-Reserve and he who controls the money controls the government. Scarcity became a catch phrase because if people believed a thing was scarce they could charge more for it.

Dark Energy? This is a mathematical construct of a failed paradigm which could not explain what they believe they saw. Because the standard model neutralizes the electric field because as they like to say, it's "nearly balanced" and this is so wrong. Energy in a car battery is balanced until one connects the poles to a circuit with a load and voila electric current. I could get all into the science of this as it is something I am very invested in intellectually. Suffice to say, if a thing is "nearly balanced" then it isn't balanced therefore it has electrical potential and plasma which constitutes 99.6% of the observed universe is highly conductive with very little if any resistance and can form all kinds of things like double-layers(capacitors), plasmoids(better explains black hole phenomena), Birkeland currents(if they pinch form plasmoids). BTW the search for dark matter has been fruitless, China is quitting the search and new models have come out that do not require dark matter/energy.
BUTTTTT, having said all that. There has been this concept of dark energy for a long time whether it was the luminiferous aether, space-time fabric or dark energy as attempts to explain things.
Ask yourself what is energy? And ignore the standard model answer of that which enables work. As it does not explain what energy is, but what it can be used for. In its simplest, as far as I can tell, energy is merely motion. But the real question is; what is in motion? All energy fits somewhere on the electromagnetic spectrum, so the only difference between x-rays and radio waves and visible lightwaves is the size of their field and the rate of frequency of their perturbation, their pulse. The faster the frequency the smaller the field the higher the energy. These oscillations imply a wavelike quality and waves require a medium. Since the medium for a water wave is water then the medium for em waves is em and is self-propagating.
Electrogravitics works because gravity is an epiphenomenon of electricity. Yeah, in the 50s they were close to letting the cat out of the bag.

He recognizes that the new power is in information, he who controls the information controls everything. This is an integral aspect of sustainable development( a catchphrase for eugenics and population control) and the "smart economy" which tracks your usage of everything. They, if they are smart enough, will always find ways to maintain their power. And as long as the masses believe in the elitist right to power, they will maintain their power. One way that helps them with this is a divided population and ideology supplies the means of self-division from humanity.
I do not really disagree with anything beyond this point. It has many elements that I too consider integral to a healthy society. You have taken ideas from different ideologies and that is what is necessary. Now, all we have to do is wait till a critical mass of people to wake up.
I want to know who this Rifkin is as he seems like an elitist apologist, with his entropic theory he totally sidesteps history for a theory based somewhat on unproven beliefs. The universe is a closed system, it is infinite and all evidence suggesting otherwise is highly disputable.
I often wonder how much the elitist had been involved with manipulating the science of a century ago. I have heard rumours that are quite damning of Einstein and many of the other at the Solvay Conference who saddled us with the questionable science of quantum theory. (see my post regarding modern science in need of a reformulation) There are those that tell us it is this science which gives us our modern technology, but this is not true, our tech evolved from the electrical philosophers like Tesla, Steinmetz, Hertz, Maxwell, and the list goes on.
It all begins by uniting regardless of our differences, but, ideology prevents such unity.

Thank You so much for reading! As for the theory of entropy, that is really not the point... I wrote this piece in response to Rifkin and His social entropy work called Entropy. [smile] And in the social order of things, there IS a form of "entropy" in a scarcity paradigm. We are taught to compete, not cooperate.
The rise in fascism has everything to do with a group at the "top" of the money/power pyramid, the psychopaths in control on OUR planet (stolen from Us by the psychopaths in control through "trusts" - Unum Sanctum and the Cestui Que Vie "trusts" - and deceit), aiming to control Us, Humanity, 100%. They can't just take over - there are far too many of Us for that. So They're doing it incrementally, creating fake "events" as the "problem," manage the "reaction" (telling Us what Our "reaction" is...), and then bringing in the "solution," which always entails more oppressive control. Poverty is a function of money, and is NOT the driving force to fascism - though that schism enables the Ones to whom the bulk of Our planet's wealth flows to implement Their illusion of "reality" on Us to justify taking more control of Our lives.
Lack of "jobs" is a function of money and excess Human energy. It is not driving the fascism... Immigration is a function of a lack of comfort (money) leading People to seek the ability to be comfortable elsewhere on Our planet, often across the imaginary lines the psychopaths in control drew to create divide so as to keep Our planet conquered, enabling wars which They foment, funding both sides to Their profit, and getting willing (soul-diers) and unwilling ("collateral damage") sacrifices to Their sick egos. But "immigration" IS used as a talking point to create more control...
Yes, the einsteinian theories, now taught as "fact," are BS - Einstein was an actor playing the part of "wacky genius," who was given the flawed physics to present, BECAUSE they do not predict the energy in the aether. Without money, no Individual would have such power...
Now... All We have to do is share awareness avidly of a better way of doing things, that We CAN withdraw Our consent, that We CAN consent to better, that the number one step is sharing this awareness to the tipping point. As I figure it, the People only need to see a place uphill out of the cesspool We are standing in to move in that direction. "Waking up" to the depth of the doo We are standing in is far less important. They know something is wrong, and a solution will appeal, whether They grasp what is wrong or not.
As for Rifkin... Yeah, He is an ELitist bastard. But His work was an awesome springboard for My work... And yes, science has been just as manipulated here as "news." Are You familiar with Dr. Paul A. LaViolette and His work in subquantum kinetics (SQK)? It predicts all the "mysteries" of einsteinian physics, including the Biefeld-Brown effect (the basis of electrogravitics), as well as an aether.

The aether does not exist outside of what has already been discovered as far as I am concerned, it may and I could be wrong, but for now this is my position. The aether was meant to be a medium for the wavelike properties of the electromagnetic spectrum, because everyone knew a wave needs a medium. The Michelson-Morley experiement resulted in a null finding, which means neither here nor there, not proven and neither disproven. Maxwell had derived equations for a self-propagating em, in other words a wave that produces its own medium with every pulse, or, the aether is the matrix that is atomic structure, but it isn't something that has no baryonic signature like Einstein's space-time fabric. And when we think of waves we should think of them in three-dimensions not two like what one sees on an oscillascope. Something like this ~
I agree the removal of money from the equation would destabilize the power of the elites, but most people are not ready for that.
There is much more involved than just sharing awareness.
Remember the Matrix movies, how in the end some people wanted to remain asleep and in the matrix and they remained as the power source of the machines. There are a lot of people who believe in this system, then there are those who believe only in capitalism or some screwy modern version of capitalism that ignores its history or exploitation. Too many ideologies(belief) are also a problem as they divide humanity. A divided humanity means a divided hive consciousness.
The way I see it the whole thing requires the backhand of god to knock us about and destroy the informational power base of the elites. I imagined it as a series of powerful X class solar flare that knock out the entire electric grid, does some population control, decentralizes power and hopefull the survivors learn to do things a little differently to the betterment of all. Unfortunately, we are in a Grand Solar Minimum and heading towards an ice age and the threats we face are vastly different. Food shortages, violent uprising, increased pandemics, etc. In fact, I believe the whole man-made global warming bs was a false flag to have us not paying attention to what is really happening because the number one goal of the oligarchs is depopulation and the potential of that happening during an ice age are scarily real.

Yes, the psychopaths in control use the desperation of the poverty They maintain to create "uprisings" that They can then justify "putting down" with added fascist elements on top. But poverty itself is not what creates the fascism. It is the machinations of the psychopaths using what money systems create (poverty and privilege) to Their ends.
The Michelson-Morley experiment was redone recently, with more modern equipment and more sensitive devices. What They discover was that, indeed, there IS an aether... It is a sea of energy in which We swim, it is "proto-matter." And given that My father worked with TT Brown on electrogravitics, and would tell Us about the results of Their experiments - gravity control and energy from the aether - and would tell Me what the world I would grow up in would look like because of His work - cities would float, cars would fly, and We would have all the energy We can use - until it went very, very black, I have personal awareness that indeed, We CAN extract the energy.
Of course, Dad came home one night and told Us He couldn't talk about His work anymore because, and I quote, "They want it secret for now."
In fact, both Dr. Joseph Farrell and Dr. Paul A. LaViolette contend that the black projects use a different physics, one with the aether accounted for, than the sad physics that Einstein fed Us.
As for most People "not being ready for that" (the removal of accounting for Human energy, money), I only agree in the sense that Most do not KNOW that They will be free to spend Their time as They choose, have leisure and industry of interest, rather than having to add Their energy into a system in a way that They are bored with, dislike, or downright hate. They do not KNOW that it would mean They could live as richly as They choose. Ergo My efforts to share awareness of this.
Yes, Some may want to "remain asleep," but once awareness hits the tipping point, once People realize that They will serve Themselves and Their loved Ones, along with serving Humanity as a whole, it will be off and running.
As for "hive consciousness..." I do recommend looking into stigmergy. Identified initially in ant colonies, but indeed applicable to all societies in nature, They discovered that the "queen" played a reproductive role, and did pass on information brought by the autonomous individuals, who had seed parameters that determined how They responded to specific information. For example, if an ant was out looking for food and encountered a certain number of fellow ants looking for food in a certain time frame, the autonomous individual would determine that enough of the others were out looking for food and would return to the colony to help with other tasks. There is no such thing as "hive mind."
Of course, Our natural stigmergy in Humanity on this planet has been suppressed, constricted, distorted, and squelched, as information flow is blocked, fabricated, and controlled by the Few (psychopaths) who own the information dissemination outlets...
And being as I don't see "God" as most do, and as I also see that the psychopaths have gone to great lengths to ensure "continuance of government," come what may, I would say that We, as co-creators (co-Gods) of the Now must be the Ones to choose to remove the tools to power the useless ELiters, the psychopaths in control, have to so beset Us.
