Economy Top Issue Still For Voters

in #politics8 months ago

Things kicked off this week with the presidential debate and still one of the top issues for many voters out there today is the economy. People want to hear a message of hope on how things are going to get better. They want to hear some responsibility and a message for how or when they might expect things to turn around. Will they? What will that future look like? The cost of living is an issue for millions of people and it is hard to care about much else if they are worried about ending up homeless or not being able to afford care for their children or food etc. The cost of living will remain one of the top voting issues in the political arena.

While the economy and talks of inflation are important for many though they aren't the only issues being raised or the only problems that Americans might be worried about. Healthcare is another big issue, along with the topic of abortion, crime, immigration, and education.

Voting issues for both the left and right:

  • energy policy
  • foreign policy
  • gun policy
  • the future of democracy

These are some of the most frequent issues that political representatives touch on when campaigning and giving speeches on what they might do to push things forward.

There are many who are not happy with the current economic conditions and that is going to be a major point of concern for many who want to vote for someone who gives them hope that there can be a brighter future ahead, that it isn't all downhill from here.

The economy hits each of us in the pocket book. I know the bought of state run media says it is getting better. Don't believe the propaganda.
