As long as the transgendered person isn't a dick about people who make honest mistakes in using the confusing pronouns, I can handle that.
I don't expect the elderly to be able to properly use the pronoun that doesn't seem to match what they are looking at, or some new made-up pronoun that they have never heard before.
Dictating the words a person MUST use is a dickish move in my eyes, just as bad as censorship, even though everyone has the right to think of themselves however feels best to them.
