POLITICAL PROMISES , A NEW WAY OF GAINING POLITICAL POWER IN AFRICA.

It has been discovered that the new way or formula of wining the heart of the electorate in Africa in particular is based on your ability and capabilities of drawing a manifesto which contains a lots of fake promises which you as a politician knew that it wasn't going to be possible not because the means were not available but because the major reasons why most people go into politics in Africa is to enrich themselves, that of there family members and loved ones.

In a country such as Nigeria, the African giants, the number one oil producing country in Africa, a country that is blessed with a lots of mineral resources like oil and gas, gold , silver, magnesium, zinc, limestone which is use in cement production, rubber, to mention but few, but still her citizens are wallowing in abjects poverty.I called this poverty in the midst of plenty.
President Mohammadu Buhari instead of concentrating on delivering his campaign promises to the people of Nigerian which includes safety of lives and property and he is here talking about re-election comes 2019 , but he forgot that the same people who are going to vote for him are being killed all-over Nigeria by the Fulani herdsmen including Rev fathers and Notting serious has been done about it. And now the Western political elite want the BIAFRIAN JEWS to help them vote president Mohammadu Buhari out of the office comes 2019 February presidential election when they are not the one who voted him in at first place.

Since Nigeria gain Democracy in 1999, it's affairs has been piloted by one political party, # "people democratic party" #PDP, until the last election in 2015 which brought (ACN into power based on there campaign messages of CHANGE which Nigerians in diaspora later described as CHAIN because the CHANGE they promised has put Nigerians in CHAIN they said.

Before that controversial election, there has been a debate in Nigeria among party supporters whether or not there will be any party in Nigeria who can defeat the then rulling party #PDP and take Nigeria to the next level. image Source: dailypost.ng

If you were part of that debate, you would probably have said"vote them out", but the facts is that there has not been free and fair election in Nigeria accept the June 12 ,1993 election which chief Moshood (MKO) Abiola, a Muslim businessman and philanthropists was declared winner but was denied access to the Aso-Rock by the then military ruler, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and later declared himself military ruler. Abacha then arrested Abiola for declaring himself"president and Commander in-chief of the federal republic of Nigeria and proclaimed a new government of national unity. The then military ruler threw Abiola into prison for four years where he later died or better still he was poisoned on the day of his freedom. image Source:theguardian.com

Followed by the election that brought president GoodLuck Jonathan into power.

Before then the rulling party #PDP had always finds their way (s) back to the office irrespective of who voted against them or not.

During the debate , I told the party supporters that it's absolutely possibly for the then rulling party# PDP to loose the next election despite the fact that they have been in power for so many years, but that can only be possible if the two opposition parties #AC, led by Bola Tunubu and #ANPP , led by Buhari should emerged together as one party, until that happens, who ever #PDP present as a flag bearer will definitely loose the election comes #2015, because these two parties coming together as one has the capability of making a difference that will be difficult for any party or individual to manipulate. It seems like my statement was submitted to the opposition parties and they quickly acted on it and became #ACN, and president Muhammadu Buhari as their flag bearer, indeed , that was what brought them into power in 2015, because the difference was so great that no body or party could manipulate, together with their failed campaign messages of CHANGE.

My question is "has Nigeria as a country and Nigerians themselves experience any forms of CHANGE since they took power from PDP in 2015?
Your answer maybe NO or even YES , but what most people don't understand is that we have two types of CHANGE, positive CHANGE and negative CHANGE. One can change bad to good (positive CHANGE) or better still make the little good we have to be worse (negative CHANGE) and that has been the situation in a country such as Nigeria and so many other African countries.

The type of CHANGE that African politicians promised to their electorate during campaign train are certainly not the same with the CHANGE that president Barracks Obama talked about during his campaign train and tenure in the office. His own type of CHANGE was practical and positive CHANGE.
It seems to me that the forces behind the message of CHANGE has the ability of causing someone to win election in Africa even when the unrighteous is the one with the message of CHANGE against the righteous. image Source: omgvoice.com
In Ghana, the then rolling #NDC party lost their position in the Jubilee Flagstaff house during the last presidential election despite the fact that their candidate, president John Dramani Mahama happened to be the best president that the country had produced even he was ranked above Dr Kwame Nkrumah because of his economic reform, infrastructural development and Youth empowerment programmes that the country witnessed within a short period of three and half years in office, it was during his tenure in the office that the country was recognized as the African Dubai due to his massive economic reforms and infrastructural development.
It was during president John Dramani Mahama's tenure that so many projects were taking into consideration such as
-Awoshi Pokuase road
-Ridge & police hospital expansion from 200-420 bed capacity hospital which cost $350 million

  • Kumasi Airport renovation $23 million
-Nungua water Desalination (I.e) removing salt from the sea water to make it drinkable
    -Temale international Airport
    -Nkrumah Circle interchange
    -Takoradi port expansion
    -Sugars factory in Komanda
    -200 community school projects
  • Kpong water projects
  • Atuaba gas( Ghana gas) which will produce #107 million standard cubic feet of lean gas, 500 tones of LPG, 80 tones of pentane and 45 tons of condensates daily. imageSource: omgvoice.com.
Those of us in the oil & gas industry will understand me well.
All these and many more were the achievement of president John Dramani Mahama of #NDC within three and half years in the office because he became the president of Ghana according to the Constitution after the death of president Attah Mills. image Source:myjoyonline.com
But he lost his re-election to NPP candidate president Nana Akufo-Addo, probably because Nana came with the message of CHANGE during his campaign train.
But my question remains, has Ghana as a country and Ghanaians themselves experienced any forms of CHANGE since president Nana Akufo-Addo took over from #NDC party , even some of the projects that the previous administrator started has been abandoned and yet Notting new is being done except the free (SHS)among numerous other campaign promises and Ghanaians are complaining over a high cost of electricity bills, water, and fuel price are on the increase even when Jubilee fields among others produces 200,000 barrels of hydrocarbon pay day.
The standard of living in Ghana is getting higher and higher every day that the environment only accommodate the rich and politicians but the electorate and the tax payers are living below $1 dollar a day.
In conclusion, the solution to the African problem lies in our hands and it is time for the African Youths to wake up from their slumbers and take the future of this great continent to the next level because we are the future and the future is now.
    Thanks and God bless.
