It's Tough To Be Consistent
Senator Schumer is asking the FDA to regulate chocolate. Well not regular chocolate because that would be silly right? But chocolate you can snort.
Apparently it's a big fad over in Europe and is now taking off here in America. But, because Mr. Schumer, a man of the people, feels he might be smarter than you and is asking the FDA to look in to this new fad.
Now I'm not to hip on the FDA because I see too many Lawyers on late night TV talking about all the drugs that the FDA is now recalling. My assumption was that the FDA only allows safe drugs to come to the market. But apparently they aren't very good at their job. Just watch late night TV!
My question is why doesn't Mr. Schumer just outlaw chocolate instead of succeeding his power to unelected officials which we can't fire?
