Information Versus Knowledge

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

Thought I'd start educating people, if they can be educated at all. You see, I had a good teacher. Information, data, facts are not knowledge, and certainly not understanding. Yet our school system teaches us that information is knowledge. If you can rattle off a plethora of facts and data about the French Revolution, you have knowledge of the French Revolution. But of course, you know nothing about the French Revolution, if all you know is Danton, Voltaire, Robespierre, Paris, the guillotine, Napoleon, etc. So our youth know nothing from nothing (ie nothing) if they imagine that they have knowledge when they only have data. Thus the dumbing down of America. But why? For Global Corporate Rothschild Banking control. You see if you knew something, you would never put up with the criminality of the ruling Elite. Also, knowledge is derived from value judgments about what the data means, which is of course religion (good and bad). Since educators do not believe in God, they cannot apply value judgments to the data. Without value judgments (the application of the Ten Commandments to the facts), no knowledge is possible. So teachers are in a real sense criminals, brainwashing our children into believing that they know something when they don't. Yes they can learn math and science which are value free, but they cannot know anything in disciplines involving Practical Reason: Economics, Politics, Philosophy, Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, History, Language Arts (English), etc.
