Another slap right in the face to all taxpayers in Norway. The politicians want more money, they already get 12 months of pay after they are done. Now they want another 12 months, 24 months of salary...after they quit/are voted out. They receive about 900.000 Nok yearly, that's roughly 106.800 Usd.
They will continue to receive this amount for 3 months after they are done, when these 3 months have passed it reduces to 600.000 Nok. (Roughly 72.000 Usd)
225.000 Nok(26.679 Usd) paid the first 3 months.
450.000 Nok(53.377 Usd) paid during the remaining 9 months.
600.000 Nok(72.000 Usd) paid for the full second year.
That's a total of 1.275.000 Nok(151.236 Usd) for two whole years of doing nothing.
Just previous of this announcement we have had news about budget cuts in healthcare, care for the elderly and for those with nothing. I don't see how this makes any sense.
The oil price is low and with the passed budget we will spend much more than ever. The bill falls on the average taxpayer.
Voted in to serve the people, but serves them self while fucking all of us in the ass.
