This is a very real threat and a very real problem. It's funny (not funny) how articles offering solutions seems to always include phrases like "the government should" or "the government must". The attitude is as if the people outside of government are powerless and the only solution is "the government must use a heavy hand..."
Who is more dedicated and invested in defending children then their own parents or family or guardians? The government? It's not that the government should or government must.... it's that THE GOVERNMENT CAN.
