Confusion broke down today at Obio Akpor of Rivers state Nigeria. It all began when a policeman who was driving behind a vehicle filled with frozen goods because they were all stuck in a traffic alighted from the his car and went straight to tell taxi driver and shot him behind his neck. People were terrified as to how a police man could take such an act, this was jungle justice at its peak.
As soon as he realized what he had done, he immediately ran away from the scene. Many people believe that it was as a result of frustration if being held up in the traffic because it was the commercial drivers who were actually the cause of the traffic due to their indiscriminate packing;But is that enough reason to take someone else's live? Some people however said that the taxi drive was also stuck in the go~slow also, but alighted from his car to have a clearer view of what was the cause of the traffic was standing beside his car when the policeman approached him and shot him at a close range. The gunshot triggered fear in people and they was commotion everywhere. The youths were angry. They began a protest in form of a riot mainly condemning the fact that jungle justice has been done to on e of their own. They were angry, burning and breaking things. The anti~riot team was dispersed to calm the youths and make the atmosphere conducive enough. They pleaded with the youths give them time to investigate things because as they believe that he is not an officer from the area.
