The real underlying currency of our world is narrative, and the ability to control it
The really real currencies are time and attention/focus. Yea, you can influence these via the so called matrix narrative, which you describe. Still, the real currencies are our time and attention/focus.
If I don't put any time and attention into these narratives, focus on other stuff, try to build an alternative - they can do nothing.
Only try to force me, but hopefully then atleast everybody sees their real face.
