Well, I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised
At first glance, at the interview I was concerned it would be a highly politically correct, environment
It is in fact, a brilliant place to work, much better than My Previous Employer.
Everyone is reasonably honest, speaks their mind, not to over the top with too much nonsensical plastic fantastic crap, and the owner, is a real straight shooter,
Very much a metaphorical gangster, well, I’m a privateer, we will get on well
Metaphorically speaking
That entire side of Homebush is, dreadfully dilapidated and run down, but, it’s got that, how would I describe it, to use a gaming term it’s got that "minmatar" or "pyro" stream about it, to use an eve online or star citizen metaphor, as I walked up and down the street, I looked around, at all the poverty, and the rundown buildings and thought "right, well, when I do build up to investment levels, this is certainly a place to do it, that side of the town needs some love that’s for sure.
But yes, they front, like gangsters, but, just in the same way us online, often have us rustic types, and our sort of, pseudo anarchical online communities - very similar in many respects.
They are very new, and despite what they have hired me for, I am certain I can help that Director get his business going in a better financial trajectory, swiftly.
Sadly, no Captain Cat with her plucky English, BUT pauses to make me smile, but dam it was good to be back in the space, Captain darling, you know I would never draw my sword on you, no matter who I was working for, better keep off my Turf though Kitty Cat, I will respect yours in kind, and who knows, Alliance? But yes, if you are in here NSW Police, or otherwise, the place is clean, they are all good people, just a bit of cavalier attitude and rough diamond attitude, not to dis-similar from myself, consider that side of the tracks under MGI protection.

One thing did interest me, greatly
After .... Krea and I had some long discussions, several days ago, i boiled down to this, it was quite a boil down, of various tarot card readings, no nonsense, anyway I got this, which is the logo of the top left of my Resume I sent to them, its just blacked out.
Now check this building out smack bang in the middle of the town, If you zoom in, to the centrepiece, the arch
It is the same symbol, just the top, one day, I’m going to buy it, and fix it.
Would be a wonderful place for an office / art gallery / events theatre - and right across the road from a pub and a trainline.
Finances permitting, I may have just found MGI headquarters, in the future, when, I’m ready to purchase office space, to start the actual, business projects, and just down the road from where I work, no need to quit the day job, a dream, at this stage, BUT an achievable one
With a bit of TLC that place could be looking great
