In other words, are midwits especially stubborn compared to everyone else?
Their entire psychology is one based in fear
conformity = fear of disapproval
Insecurity (of intelligence)
Collectivism = Fear of being an individual (connected to conformity)
So, no - it's not stubbornness (an inability to admit you're wrong). The midwit is never wrong...(insecurity of inteligence).
Now you see why I frame them more as 'organic automatons'.
It's not derogatory - it's quite a logical perspective...
They do not think, they just react to stimulus that's presented...
The question that does arise (referring your previous messages), is "...is the dichotomy between the midwit and all other people (higher and lower IQ's) one that can be bridged?"
I'm starting to think not.
The only way (as I see it) that a midwit can be 'unmitdwitted', is through events that change their perspectives - ie to start thinking - is NOT through discourse. How can you achieve anything through discussion if they are not, fundamentally, thinking for themselves?
I'm gonna do a post on this dichotomy.
If events are the only things to create psychological changes (negative, traumatic ones, I would think, unfortunately) does that mean that there is no 'fix' to the dichotomy ?
I see no fix.
....'them' and 'us' , is real. .....they are blind men discussing color (to 'us'), and we are deaf men discussing music (to 'them)...
The fundamental difference is that 'we' naturally respect everyone to live their own lives.
THEY want to control the environment, and all the people in it.
'We' are the constant, existential threat...
'Quick Bart, turn on the television, I'm starting to think!'..lol...They want a non thinking existence.
We want a life that's full of thinking ....
