In one email it is mentioned that the price of bitcoin was 60¢ / BTC but the email is dated to last October. Given that Bitcoins were headed to a thousand at the time, it seems mixed up. Maybe she/he meant 60¢/mBTC. It also is said that bitcoin is a currency "nobody" uses.
The pizza reference could be from the story of the now three million dollar pizzas. Two pizzas were purchased for 10,000 BTC when bitcoin had not yet found any value.
