Enabling Civil War 2.0 - Part VI - Global worming

Lies and Damned Lies

Consider the Big Lie of Global Warming and its trans-bastard child, Climate Change, conceived in case warming didn't happen soon enough. You can tell how important a powergrab it is by the money, effort and reputations risked creating a scientific lie, and how desperately they try to cram it down our throats without debate. Yet, in 2017 the early fall weather and heavy snow in the Rockies speaks louder than their unscientific rigor... as does the petition with 31,000 scientists signed up to oppose junk science, starting with this world-class neo-Luddite hoax.

Rational, non-political climate scientists Dr. Judith Curry, and Dr. John Christy testified before congress in spite of alarmists alarming and snowflakes triggering, and warn of a global cooling trend due to the potentially decades-long solar minimum just beginning. Sea levels had been slowly rising over the last 20 years but NASA confirms that has reversed.

Meanwhile certain very competent but non-credentialled science journalists and researchers have discovered from evidence including ice cores drilled in (the center, not the edge of) the Greenland ice pack, the resumption of a slow, centuries-long cooling trend (see at the 25-42 minute interval) and that accelerates after the last warming gasp in 2007-2012. Former White House science advisor John L. Casey, PhD says the various presidents know about this evidence. It's due to the beginning of a solar minimum, hopefully not as extreme as the Maunder Minimum (which also see) which brought on the Little Ice Age.

Like gold, Truth and companionship are where you find them.

Does it really matter in the end if you have credentials or just lots of common sense, accurate instruments, a will to learn and risk marginalization if proven wrong, and a drive for the truth... instead of protecting a cherished ivory-tower narrative?

In regard to science and their subservient media (and vast amounts of grant money at stake) these days, "mainstream" may be the last place to start looking for the latest, because they are just now grudgingly catching up, like outdated textbooks.

The IPCC models were fed cherry-picked data that excluded high altitude satellite measurements because they conflicted (and still do) with the preconceived narrative. Water vapor, the most abundant greenhouse gas of all, is also ignored. Dr. Christy's physical investigations of testing stations showed that ground data is deliberately skewed by placing a large percentage of them in concrete parking lots, near large air conditioning exhausts and other nifty tricks. Duly reported to the congressional committee, there was virtually no media coverage and of course nothing changed.

Wikileaks exposed "Climategate," the emails clearly demonstrating politicized scientists getting their PR stories in synch. Of course this is buried, ignored, denied and/or slimed, since they don't dare argue the science nor give Wikileaks any credibility. It's a damn good thing we have these proven-reliable spying eyes of our own on these arrogant lying slugs taking illicit advantage of the warm glow of Science, or we would really be in the dark.

In regard to the hurricanes of 2017, we were overdue. The ocean temperatures were and are average for that time of year. If warm oceans alone cause them, why were there so few storms over the last twelve years?

Normal climate change is ongoing, as noted since the beginning of cognition, often with dramatic and destructive extremes, some of which are truly shocking in the ice-core record. Several periods before the industrial revolution were warmer than now, which also blows holes in their story. Periodic vulcanism puts more CO2 in the air than the cumulative total since the beginning of industrial civilization times 50 (or something ridiculous). Neither America nor civilization requires a (tyrannical by definition) world government takeover of industry to deal with it. There is only one way this has ever worked or ever will.

The only motive that pulls the train

Let's be real; "we" must "allow" legal operation of the universally demonized profit motive, a concept that emerged during the latter 17th and 18th centuries with the ideas of John Locke, David Hume, John Stuart Mill, Francis Bacon, Adam Smith and many following. These concepts were the foundations of Classic Liberalism.

The positive awakening brought on by the new freedom to make money lit off an incredible burst of human energy and optimism leading to the private-profit-driven industrialization of Western Civilization. Ensuing decades saw relative world peace and unheard-of material progress that lifted all classes, especially in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After 6000 years of uninterrupted war, tyranny, poverty, oppression, injustice, inquisitions, famine, epidemics, genocide, misery and hatred, no wonder it caught on, replacing the Divine Right of Kings, which obviously sucked.

Very unfortunately for the legacy of white people even these flawed heroes were too racist, greedy and bloodthirsty to forgo wiping out most Native American tribes and stealing their land, a vile precedent and evil portent. It was a form of extreme and hypocritical colonialism; genocide, to be blunt, so soon after shucking the intolerable British version.

Properly protected, stable, standardized property rights and intelligently regulated insurance and real estate markets allow rapid adjustments to and advance planning for premiums, benefits, contracts and valuations, ideally in a currency of stable value, (ahem). The invisible hand of the market (individual and corporate investors, farmers, food processors, real estate and insurance experts), acting on their own best knowledge and self-interest, discover real prices daily on regulated exchanges using the latest realtime statistical calculations of risk for storms, flooding and crop failures... and inflation of the currencies involved. (Not to say that the exchanges themselves are incorruptible, re: the Bunker Hunt fiasco, but that's a rant for another time).

In other words, the government needs to mostly get the hell out of the way so that the real men can deal quickly with whatever comes along, analyzing and offsetting risk while hopefully realizing an agreeable net profit for their effort and time; no guarantees, of course. That is what built America, if anyone wants to get honest. Is this "capitalism?" Maybe, but absolutely not what we know all too well as "crony capitalism," a polite euphemism for Fascism.

So why should the blind, clumsy-fool hand of "omnipotent" government, in violation of every limitation of power we have learned the hard way to hold dear, have absolute authority over anything? Following which successful model? Vietnam? War on Poverty? War on Drugs? War on Cancer? War on Terror? War on Air Travel? Post Office? FED? Obamacare? Syria? Libya? Iraq? Afghanistan? Why just not repeal the Scientific Method, the Industrial Revolution and toss the Magna Carta and the Constitution in the garbage? Social justice at last!

"This obsession with Russia is a tactic used by the ruling elite, and in particular the Democratic Party, to avoid facing a very unpleasant reality: that their unpopularity is the outcome of their policies of deindustrialization and the assault against working men and women and poor people of color." — Chris Hedges, Pulitzer-winning leftist journalist.
