RE: “Good Guys” And “Bad Guys” Are A Hollywood Illusion

in #politics5 years ago (edited)

This is a very important and insightful article and explains some of why Caitlin Johnstone's work is to be admired by all of us and cherished. I would only add a very brief statement of what I have been so fortunate to learn from a very wise man: As much as a person feels justice to others is justice for himself, and wants to see what that means, he is that much going after being good. And where a person feels that taking care of himself is separate from, or against, taking care of others, and does not want to see how he can honestly change that feeling to have the two things work together, that much he will be going after evil. But first we must, as Ms. Johnstone so keenly writes, put aside the pleasing false narratives of people just being good or bad people or it will keep, or at least impede, us from seeing what is true.
