While flying from San Diego to Baltimore via Phoenix, Arizona for a fundraiser today, I learnt that the Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Imohimi Edgar, directly ordered the detention of @aacparty supporters for pasting my posters “too close” to @apcNigeria posters at night. A conversation with the DPO of Area ‘F’ revealed that the CP is the only one who can order them released.

We knew the CP wasn’t interested in democratic conduct when our representatives met him in LAGOS last week and he vehemently stated that he didn’t belief in other parties running in the 2019 elections except the APC and maybe the PDP.
Mr. Edgar is advised to release our party supporters immediately.

This is the despicable propaganda being churned out by CP Imohimi Edgar to cover up his partisanship in Lagos. I learnt recently that he is doing everything he can to retain his commission in Lagos, so he needed to show loyalty to his APC lords by framing our party members. We urge all our members to hit the streets tomorrow on a peaceful protest against the shenanigans of CP Edgar and his party hacks. #RevolutionBegins #TakeItBack

They are scared about the massive support we’ve garnered in the last three months, a powerful movement and political party that came from the rear and began speaking fearlessly and fervently to the aspirations of the young and the old, offering our oppressed people a rare form hope of freedom and inspiring a generation young people at home and abroad to build a future that is tamper-proof. Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come!#TakeItBack

Follow and resteem, so we can spread this revolution all over the world..... We must take Nigeria back
