i didn't fit in soooo badly that… i thought it was because i didn't speak well enough or clearly enough, and that is the reason they couldn't understand what i was saying. Trying harder broke my brain, and i can stutter and lose words.
I really thought it was me, and not because they were all herd animals.
Ever talk to a science teacher and get yelled at because you had questions about theories?
I had a geography teacher in 7th grade that made a mistake grading my test.
It was a true/false test.
The book read 'XXXX XXXX" the answer is true.
I took the textbook up to her desk, showed her what the book had written, and she agreed that I was right, that is what the book said.
She then pulled out her teacher's answer book, showed me where the answer book said I was wrong, and told me to sit down.
When we got our 6 week report cards, I had a B and a boy that was about as bright as the crayons he ate in class had gotten an A.
That was the beginning of my withdrawal from the larger herd.
My first question was why are studying a book that tells us 'in 1964 brazil exported xxhundred of tons of cotton' in 1980?
Who gives a,....but you had to know it to pass the class.
IF the herd animals were capable of grasping what has been stolen from them, they would be angry, imo.
