Populous was a good game I've never tried, I think the person responsible made Black & White and tried to make a newer title last year or so,
Peter Molyneux. Hasn't really made anything good since the Fable games, IMO.
I agree, well the first fable, then MS crapped all over everything, I still adore the B&W games, I can't quite remember but that new game had a nice style and a good premise for supporting the scene, but didn't turn out.
