Afternoon Dporn’ers we been up for a few weeks now and it feels like a lifetime. We realized we haven't checked in with you all to get some feedback or suggestions into how you like the website since we launched. We kind of just showed up as the adult blockchain-based content site for Steem and said we are here now.
Let us know in the comments below on what you like, don't like, or like, or would like changed. We have another post this week to tell you where we are at with everything.
One small minor update we adjusted some graphics so the mobile version ( logo on-site is changed ) is much crispier than before. Let us know if you see any difference.

How many would be in support of allowing embedded videos (from verified content creators) to be hosted via pornhub, other?
This approach could be used to rapidly get videos going again.
It would be a zero cost solution from a hosting perspective being only a coding change, and not requiring expensive video hosting, IPFS nodes, etc.
Ideally a 'widget' via an add on script that would auto generate the markdown needed for a well formed video embed and could be updated as needed without needing to redeploy the entire site.
If the data is snarfed via the server backend to get around CORS issues - could probably be used to grab snapshot image url.
In the future could possibly auto populate title field as well and maybe description, and possibly suggested tag guessing depending on site the video is hosted with.
A CORS proxy could be setup then used by the script so that video urls could actually be parse out by client browser. (using whitelisted only sites/url patterns for the proxying CORS gateway with rate limiting to prevent potential abuse).

Love the concept. This sounds like a separate service we could offer would this be correct? Def. would be interested in what you had in mind.
The post helper, for content creators, could be implemented as an add-on javascript that would inject the necessary HTML, etc, to provide the capability for said content creator to input an URL, say from pornhub. The script would then query the CORS proxy to get the HTML from the input URL, do a best effort HTML parse, and then populate the submit post form with suggested markdown to embed a clickable snapshot image that opens the URL. (And hopefully be able to fill in other information, depending on what is in the HTML received from the URL).
The UI front-end should already allow embedded videos, via a hard-coded white list, that would need updating to convert these posts into the appropriate embed video frame (where feasible) that will allow click to play on the dporn.co site.
I like where you are going with this. We can pass this on to the proper folks to look at. I'm assuming this can still all be part of the "tube" we will be bringing to the community?
Would give you tube steak now w/o restricting your options for other tube steaks later.

I am 100% supporting you @muksihs ! This is a need if you want this platform to thrive. The user experience is not great at the moment to be honest and we could do much better.
Also at some point when there will be more content creators and users, we will need to make some "porntags" as some people might prefer to see some stuff and may not want to other stuff, hardcore /lesbians/ gay porn / bondage, etc...

We haven't even started in on our UI changes so there will def. be changes and features added to it over the next few weeks. Onboarding is taking priority right now ( no content means no users ) so we'll def. having more on the site. Thanks for the feedback!

Hello, there are many good things on the platform, but I would like them to be based not only on photographs but also on written content, when evaluating publications.
I really like the time it takes to collect the posts.
I would like to have a sexy or erotic tags, where there are curators for that kind of content.

Thanks, for the feedback and support. Porn is one aspect of it as well as erotic art. People choose to do what they want with their stake to determine what is on the site. To be clear, this isn't a modeling website.

It sounds like a wet T-shirt contest is what needs to be organized. I could see contestants submitting pics of a wet, see-through fabric covering their erect nipples, and commenters giving them scores of 1-10, explaining why they gave that particular score. Sounds like a turn-on, doesn't it? Sure, it's not directly fucking, but I'd say it's way beyond a simple modeling contest.

Yes, the "verified badge" coded into user profiles is a top priority as we go into our UI changes phase. We need to make sure our content is unique and original.
We've had a few people reach us to us about adding more tags and will add this to our list of tags to consider good suggestions.
Yes! we are working on this and our educational piece at the Dpornstudios website. As you know, any thing to do with crypto and new people is a long a laborious process getting them up to speed. Our content producers haven't hit the blockchain fully so expect it to start to pick up.

I feel like there needs to be more detail to verification. Other similar communities will require users to be holding their paper in their hand with at least one finger over the paper while the other hand makes a community symbol. I feel like this post in particular could have been produced rather than taken. Not to say that post was a produced verification but that it would be much easier to produce that kind of picture for verification than if there were stricter rules.

Looks good so far. I've seen from a few of the people posting that they are wondering about how to get noticed and more feedback so maybe some sort of curation team to show that people are interested and looking at the content.
I know it's a new tribe and won't have that many users but to keep people posting they do like to be seen. It was a huge issue for new people on STEEM as well and a reason we lost a lot of possible users.

No complaints. Love everything about Dporn! This is the most amazing & unique platform that I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot. Because I've been full time in the adult industry for well over a decade. But anyway, I do have 2 quick questions. If you go the route of pornhub (as mentioned earlier), will pornhub be the only way or will there be other options as well? And also, does it still appear to be on track to launch the tube site by the end of the month? I'm asking these questions to help me be able to better plan out my schedule for the next couple of weeks.

If we do go down that road we would be looking at other alternatives too.
This is the goal but no guarantee as on-boarding is taking the slight lead on priorities. We were surprised we were able to get the site up this month and had aimed for the start of September so we are ahead of schedule.

Yes, curation rewards are calculated using the same algorithm as Steem.
This is a good question. I believe it follows the same function as Steem in terms "upvote window" penatly time. I'll reach out to a few folks to get clarifiction on this and ping you on this thread.
