In the office or at home, emotional maturity is a guilty that is greatly valued. People who are emotionally mature respond well in a crisis and bring out the best in others. They are good friends and good colleagues. They know when to laugh as well as when to grieve.

Here I wrote seven key qualities of emotionally mature people.

They take responsibility. Emotionally mature individuals take responsibility for their own actions and for their response to the actions of others. They don't blame other people for their own failures. They acknowledge errors in a timely manner and try to make amends.

They are open and accessible. The emotionally mature person is the one who everyone else approaches to discuss a problem or ask a favor. Emotionally Mature people are willing and able to make time for others because they are well-adjusted and at peace with themselves.

They maintain a broad perspective. Emotionally mature people are able to view events in perspective. They know the difference between a small problem and a large problem, and they know when a large problem has become a crisis. For this reason, their judgment about how to respond to challenges and obstacles is trusted.

They know how to delay gratification. Emotionally mature people are restrained and well-mannered. They are able to exhibit self-control because they have deep-seated sense of security and self worth. And they know that unrestrained appetites have the potential to hurt other people.

They live with integrity. Emotionally mature people know that their actions must correspond to their beliefs, and their words must correspond to both. They know that it's always preferable to make a sacrifice rather than betray a principle.

They are loyal and dependable. Emotionally mature people believe in staying until the end of the game. They know that a promise must be kept and a vow cannot be broken. When they start something. they plan on finish it.

They are grounded and stable. Emotionally mature people are not emotionally needy. They seek to build strong relationships, but they also accept that relationships change- family members grow up and move away, work colleagues change jobs internally or move to another company. They know hot to say a welcoming hello and they also know how to say a warm goodbye.

Emotionally mature people bring many benefits to a family or a business. They are strong team members and they can be assigned to a variety of roles. Emotionally mature people help to make any organization stronger and more resilient.
