I once worked in an office with a fellow who often called his co-workers โQuiffsโ in a derogatory manner whenever he felt put upon.
Quiff is a Scottish word meaning head of hair but it sounds like a dirty word when you are called a Quiff. ๐
I donโt think I ever use swear or sexually explicit words when writing but outside of writing, get me riled up and I can use potty words with the best. I try not too!๐
I've heard quiff as part of a hair description, but not as a derogatory remark.
